We filmed towards the end of 2020 and during the pandemic. Many businesses were shut which created more challenges to our team. For instance, fifty-five chairs were gilded and upholstered at home by a couple of freelancers for our hotel set.
We were fortunate to have the photographer Sarah Lee working with us on our UK sets. She wrote an article which was published in the Guardian called ‘Behind the Scenes of Munich: The Edge of War.’
